If you’ve ever wanted to try loads of Bavarian cuisine Munich’s Oktoberfest is a great place to do so. Attendees eat many famous and popular foods such as roast pork, potato pancakes, grilled fish on a stick, sauerkraut, dumplings, cheese noodles and many more. There are also lip-smacking grilled chicken, barbequed fish, and potato salad. Traditional pretzels and mustard are served alongside authentic German grilled sausages.

As part of Oktoberfest commemorative beer mugs or steins are made each year. They usually have a decorative brewery logo on the side and made from heavy glass, thus making them favorite souvenirs among visitors. The steins are purchased in the tents. There is also ordinary Oktoberfest souvenir mug which shows each year’s Oktoberfest poster; these mugs are made of clay instead of glass and are available with a pewter lid.
